Eating “healthy” popcorn that you Sprinkled “A little bit” of salt on & doused in “a bit” of butter, because we all know that the 1 tbsp of butter is itself 100 calories. (Sadly you used the whole stick :P)

Mrs. Joe Pastry

So I just got this new job as a housekeeper to an extremely nice family. One of my responsibilities will be to prepare some of the family meals. One thing that I’d like to do before I move in is to refresh my memory on some of the great recipes I’ve created and carried out in the past to do for the family.

So…I looked up different recipes I knew and ones that i’d like to try and I came upon a great blog called Joe Pastry. On the blog recipes and different unique ingredients are broken down into steps so that that common cook can create things that they would usually buy in the stores pre-made…from scratch.

Things such as Biscuits and Marshmallows…So I’m Featuring it this week.

I was trying to find a dress for someone who had asked me about where one of the short wedding dress pictures came from on a previous blog. While I was trying to redo my whole search I came upon a ton of awesome blogs and such having to do with fashion and weddings and I couldn’t help but feature all of them.

I had the strangest dream blog (better late than never)

Aug 25, 2009 @ 8:46

So I stayed awake all last night because I had a lot on my mind and couldn’t sleep so I did things that I needed to get done such as laundry and i finally got to bed at 9:40am. I was woken up by a knock on my door by Matt Hill because the phone was for me. When I got back from the phone call with my mother in which she told me that she’s found me a new place to move in…

All I wanted to do was go back to sleep to continue my dream.

I think I figured out how my mind creates my dreams. I just think about things that have been on my mind from a previous day, and it puts them in a strange order and creates a story line about them.

For example last night’s dream:

  • I’d been watching television yesterday and there had been a commercial on about how HOUSE the television series was a huge hit and phenomenon and had won 2 emmys…I think.

  • A couple of days ago there was an episode of House I watched in which House was having sexual fantasies about his friend’s girl during his dreams that created his break through ideas. I remember the episode not only because of the sexual parts but because of a scene on a bus that I had thoroughly enjoyed and thought was very well filmed.
  • My boyfriend lives in Scotland and I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get to money to move to Scotland.
  • The main thing that is keeping me from Scotland is my lack of connection and my lack of funds.

Strange as it seems every detail here was combined to make a dream for me in which I was on a heaven like bus ride.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZjeiiHb95U

During this Bus ride unlike in House there is no crash but I am trying to talk to housenand hit on him, even though he was older I still found him attractive. Its just me and him then it flashes forward to us being married and all of a sudden I’m pregnant. And I am fighting with house over the child and I end up in Scotland running from House’s character or Hugh Laurie in real life. And I end up bumping into Craig on the street. Craig has never met me before but I swear I know him from somewhere. We see Hugh Lauries character coming down the street after me so we end up ducking into Craig’s place, which is a old apt Craig and his family and I saw in real life when I was in Scotland a beautiful place with a white front on it. I meet Craig’s housemate Hugh Darcy who I automatically fall in love with and Hugh the same with me. He asks me if he could help me raise my child as a father figure, of course I say YES and Craig is like an uncle in this house when I finally have my little girl. I remember the girl has a beautiful unique name but I forget what it is. I end up bumping into Hugh Laurie’s character again and he tells me he still loves me…and I kind of want him back over Hugh Darcy…I want them both at the same time. So I have to decide which one I want and Craig’s character during this whole time has taken a real liking to my child. Then I realize that Craig looks just like my child and I wonder where I’ve met him before.

Then I have a strange dream flashback to before I get on the bus with Hugh Darcy and its of me getting out of Craig’s bed…and it hits me that Craig isn’t just some random guy off the street but someone in my dream who I had a one night stand with and forgot.

So I choose to not choose and Hugh and I go with Craig instead…but we all…Hughs and Craig and I alike all decide to live together happily under one roof.

Strange I know, but it was just a dream right?

Pink the albino dolphin: Pink dolphin appears in US lake

Charter boat captain Erik Rue, 42, photographed the animal, which is actually an albino, when he began studying it after the mammal first surfaced in Lake Calcasieu, an inland saltwater estuary, north of the Gulf of Mexico in southwestern USA.

Capt Rue originally saw the dolphin, which also has reddish eyes, swimming with a pod of four other dolphins, with one appearing to be its mother which never left its side.

He said: “I just happened to see a little pod of dolphins, and I noticed one that was a little lighter.

“It was absolutely stunningly pink.

“I had never seen anything like it. It’s the same color throughout the whole body and it looks like it just came out of a paint booth.

“The dolphin appears to be healthy and normal other than its coloration, which is quite beautiful and stunningly pink.

“The mammal is entirely pink from tip to tail and has reddish eyes indicating its albinism. The skin appears smooth, glossy pink and without flaws.

“I have personally spotted the pink dolphin 40 to 50 times in the time since the original sighting as it has apparently taken up residence with its family in the Calcasieu ship channel.

“As time has passed the young mammal has grown and sometimes ventures away from its mother to feed and play but always remains in the vicinity of the pod.

“Surprisingly, it does not appear to be drastically affected by the environment or sunlight as might be expected considering its condition, although it tends to remain below the surface a little more than the others in the pod.”

Regina Asmutis-Silvia, senior biologist with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, said: “I have never seen a dolphin coloured in this way in all my career.

“It is a truly beautiful dolphin but people should be careful, as with any dolphins, to respect it – observe from a distance, limit their time watching, don’t chase or harass it

“While this animal looks pink, it is an albino which you can notice in the pink eyes.

“Albinism is a genetic trait and it unclear as to the type of albinism this animal inherited.”

A close relation of dolphins, the Amazon River Botos, called pink dolphins, live in South America in the Amazon.
