Matt Smith is the New Dr.Who and I am interested in him because Craig (my Scottish Boyfriend) is obsessed with Dr.Who and he has gotten me an American obsessed with it too. Doctor Who is not as popular in the States as in the UK and Europe because it was shown on Public television in the 60 and onward and it is now only shown on the sci-fi and British Broadcasting Channel so less people actually watch it on prime time. But as i vacation here in the UK Instantly a meer half a minute after the announcement of the New Doctor Billions of people all around the world posted their opinions of him.(just search Matt Smith on Twitter) At first I thought he was kind of ugly compared to the other Doctors, but after seeing some footage I thought I could grow used to the New Doctor being so young and not quite eye candy.

Matt Smith Has a lot to live up to. Looking at Craig I had the thought that I wished he was the acting type so maybe he could live up to his hidden potential and become the NEXT Doctor. Because this Doctor is so young he opens up a world of potential for everyone younger than him for the next Doctor.

When this doctor hasn’t even started why am I thinking of the Next? I noticed people watched to see who the new Doctor Who would be just as much as they wanted to know who the new JAMES BOND would be…strange how people like A certain type to play a certain character.

Matt will not be appearing as the new doctor until 2010 but I’m excited to see that people think he has potential already.
